Terms of use

1. The service

StockRadar UK is a UK digital restock-alert and tracker service for selected Pokémon TCG product pages. You create watches; we check public shop pages and notify you (Discord, Telegram, or optional email) when a real buy page looks freely buyable. Stock data is best-effort only: shops change without notice, pages can be stale or wrong, and we never promise you will get the product. We do not auto-buy, add items to a cart, check out, hold stock, or complete any purchase for you. You open the shop yourself and decide.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Free tier includes up to 5 product watches and 10 free-tier majors (Smyths Toys, Argos, GAME, Amazon UK, John Lewis, Tesco, Asda, The Entertainer, TG Jones, Sainsbury's). Plus unlocks all 25 tracked shops and features described on the pricing page (currently £4.99/mo or £39.99/year unless we change published prices with reasonable notice).

3. Payments (Plus)

Paid Plus is a digital subscription processed by Stripe: currently £4.99 per month or £39.99 per year, billed on that interval after a trial (card required). By upgrading you agree to Stripe’s terms and to recurring billing until you cancel. Cancel any time from your den (Manage billing) or Stripe’s customer portal — how to cancel. No extra fee to cancel.

14-day cooling-off. Plus is sold at a distance as a digital service. You have 14 days from purchase to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Cancel during the Stripe trial and you pay nothing. If you cancel after a paid charge, within 14 days, email [email protected] and we will refund in line with UK consumer law (we may deduct a reasonable amount for days of paid service already used). After that window, unused time in a paid period is not refunded unless the law requires it.

4. Honest stock — no guarantees

Shop pages change without notice. Search/category pages may show misleading “add to basket” for other products; we try hard not to alert on those (“search only”). Even “in stock” signals can be wrong, stale, or sold out by the time you open the link. Always confirm on the retailer’s site before travelling or paying. We are not liable for missed restocks, false positives, false negatives, or failed purchases.

5. Acceptable use

• No using StockRadar to power auto-buy or scalper tools.
• No abusing APIs, scraping our site excessively, or reverse-engineering to harm shops.
• No creating accounts for spam, fraud, or harassment.
• No attempting to break security or multi-account abuse of free trials.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Third-party shops

Retailers (Smyths, Magic Madhouse, Argos, GAME, etc.) are independent. Their stock, prices, and terms are theirs alone. We are an unaffiliated fan tool and may remove or change tracked shops at any time.

7. Intellectual property

StockRadar branding and software are ours. Pokémon and retailer names/marks belong to their owners and are used only for identification. Do not copy our product for a competing commercial service without permission.

8. Availability

The service runs on best-effort infrastructure (including a personal host and tunnel). Outages, maintenance, and retailer blocks can delay or stop scans and alerts. We do not promise 100% uptime.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost purchases, profits, or data). Our total liability for any claim relating to the paid service is limited to the amount you paid us for Plus in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (e.g. death or personal injury from negligence, or fraud).

10. Changes

We may update these terms or the service features. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live in the UK.
